At AHEAD, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement are at the heart of our work. To ensure that our project delivers meaningful and lasting results, we have developed a comprehensive framework to monitor our impact across key indicators and at multiple levels throughout its duration.
Our Objectives
Our impact assessment is designed to:
- Measure both the direct and indirect effects of our project on target groups and stakeholders.
- Assess the effectiveness of our interventions and activities.
- Identify best practices and areas for improvement.
Our Approach
To ensure a well-rounded and objective evaluation, we are employing a mixed-method approach that includes:
- Quantitative analysis – Surveys to collect measurable data.
- Qualitative research – Interviews and focus groups to gain deeper insights.
- Stakeholder engagement – Gathering feedback from partners to enhance relevance and accuracy.
We are tracking key indicators such as the number and quality of partnerships, audience satisfaction, the evolution of relationships between cultural institutions, and key learnings generated through the project. And, we are assessing essential components of our journey, including the seminars, capacity-building programme, Labs, and their prototypes, to better understand their impact.
What We Aim to Achieve
Through this impact assessment, we seek to:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the social, economic, and environmental benefits of the project for stakeholders—including local audiences, cultural institutions, cultural professionals, and artists—as well as the heritage sites involved.
- Develop evidence-based recommendations to strengthen future initiatives and support other archaeological sites in implementing best practices across Europe.
- Enhance partnerships and foster deeper engagement with stakeholders.
By continuously monitoring our impact, we aim to refine our approach, maximise our contributions, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our efforts.
We will be sharing our insights and key learnings by the end of the year—stay tuned!
