On Friday, October 4th, the AHEAD project officially launched its Call for Artists in Spain during an open event titled Engaging Audiences through Artistic Interventions, held at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.
The event commenced with an introduction to the AHEAD project, followed by a roundtable discussion, Working with Artists and Audiences: Insights from the Heritage Sector. This discussion featured insights from three consortium partners: the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica (Italy), HERITAGE – Messara Archaeological Museum (Greece), and the Museo Nacional y Centro de Investigación de Altamira (Spain).
Participants later engaged in small group discussions, exploring key factors for successfully engaging audiences through artistic interventions. These collaborative discussions fostered a deep exchange of ideas and strategies.
