The AHEAD project is delighted to invite you to the third event in our online networking series, hosted by HERITΛGE on Wednesday September 10, 2025, from 14:30 – 16:00 CET.
This session, titled “Partnership Models Between Heritage Institutions and Grassroots Organisations,” will explore how cultural heritage institutions and grassroots, community-based organisations can work together to create sustainable and innovative partnerships. Drawing on case studies from Greece, the discussion will highlight practical insights, challenges, and creative approaches to collaboration—always rooted in mutual respect and shared goals.
Featured Guests
- Theodosia Maroutsi – HERITΛGE, Coordinating Committee Member of the Living Heritage Network (Greece)
- Nikos Malatestas – Managing Director, Paros Ancient Marble Quarries Park (Greece)
The session will be hosted by Aris Anagnostopoulos, HERITΛGE Head of Community Engagement.
We welcome trainers, heritage professionals, artists, and changemakers from across Europe and beyond to join this vibrant exchange. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and co-create new ideas for audience development in cultural heritage.
Series Context
This event is part of AHEAD’s ongoing online series designed to foster transnational and cross-sectoral dialogue. The first two sessions, led by the University of Deusto and Impact Valley in July, explored the role of design thinking in cultural heritage and the arts.
As the project nears completion, these exchanges build on experiences from the national hubs in Greece, Italy, and Spain, showcasing how human-centred approaches can transform the way heritage connects with audiences.
Next Up
Looking ahead, the series will conclude with the fourth and final event on September 29, 2025, organised by project coordinators MeltingPro (Italy), on the theme: “Artists as bridge-builders: participation and cultural heritage.”
